This website is about my 1992 Lumina. Thats all its about. Maybe i'll put some links on, to other W-body sites.

I got my car (1992 Chevrolet Lumina 4 door, base model, 3.1l V6) in August of 2003, while working at a body shop. The owner gave me the car in return for work, and since the car has 205,000 miles on it, and the engine was shot, he sold me an engine as well, the same engine as was originally in the car, but out of a 93 Corsica. It has 70,000 miles on it. The car is in the shop at my high school, and myself and two friends are doing the engine swap during my auto tech class. On this website, I'll list the progress of the car as we work on it, and any mods we perform.

MODS

So far, no mods have been performed, but i have plans for several, and the money to do it, so after the car is actually running, they will be done
1. 9 inch K&N Cone filter, and 3 inch aluminum pipe, to make a better intake system. I am going to try and modify the grille or headlamp assembly to get better airflow to the filter.
2. Exhaust cutout. I don't know if this is legal, but I think it is. I plan to weld an exhaust cutout before the catalytic converter, and run a cable to the cockpit, so I can open the exhaust up... instantly. For off-highway use only, of course
 ;-)
3. Replacement shock absorbers... KYB GR2 shocks. Much stiffer and better than stock. Rear GR2 strut cartridges, also.
4. Front and rear strut tower bars, front from Blaze performance, rear from DBPerformance. Hell yeah.
5. I found a pair of slotted and cross-drilled rotors on Ebay i'm eyeing... but I don't think they're ventilated. We'll see.
6. Well, the 2nd gen Grand Prix/99 Firebird V6 wheels do not have the same bolt pattern, so i'm fucked there. I'll probably just leave them stock until the tires are worn down to nothing, and then replace them with some 15 or 16 inch wheels, from Mille Miglia probably.

Please email me if you have any suggestions or experience on this car, or the mods I want to do.
